FIRM HISTORY

Terence L. Thornhill, Architect is a registered architectural firm based in Pasco, Washington, founded in 1994 by Tere and Katie Thornhill.  The firm specializes in custom architecture, commercial design,  and residential architecture throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Tere earned his undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Washington School of Architecture in Seattle and completed graduate studies at University College Dublin - College of Architecture in Dublin, Ireland. He has been licensed in Washington state since 1989.

Prior to establishing the firm, Tere practiced architecture in London, England, at the City of London Corporation and gained extensive experience in architectural practice with prominent firms in Seattle, Washington, including TRA Architecture, Engineering, Planning & Interiors and Mithun Partners Architects and Interiors. In Seattle, Tere also received awards for both contemporary design and historic preservation and restoration.

Terence L. Thornhill, Architect offers a diverse portfolio, working on public and private architecture projects such as commercial offices, retail facilities, medical laboratories, professional offices, schools, churches, interpretive centers, municipal facilities, hospitality design,  custom and multifamily residences, remodels and much more.

In 1999, the firm was honored with the Mid-Columbia Small Business Association’s "Small Business of the Year" Gold Award for excellence in client service and employee relations.
